1987 erhielt sie ein Stipendium der Djerassi Foundation, San Francisco. Eine kleine Auswahl ihrer Arbeiten: Sentieri Segreti (1985), Temporale (1989), Paesaggio con figure (1990), Niemandsland (1992), Many Many Voices (1995), Co-Autorin des Projektes Realtime - einer Gemeinschaftsproduktion des ORF und des Vereins TRANSIT, Shadow 48/44 gemeinsam mit dem Musiker Rupert Huber (1999), Circonferenze - Kreislinien (Hörstück zusammen mit Roberto Paci Dalò für DLR Berlin 2000). 2001 startete sie ihr eigenes ib_project, in dessen Rahmen auch die Premiere Stanze d'ascolto stattfindet.
Stanze d'ascolto
Stanze d'ascolto, zu deutsch Hör-Räume, ist eine Performance, die Klang, Poesie und digitale Kunst im Raum für das Publikum zu einem Erlebnis für die Sinne macht. Ein Spiel mit den Medien, oszillierend zwischen Kunst und Technik.
In Stanze d'ascolto formieren sich vorproduzierte akustische Passagen mit Live-Musik und visuellen Projektionen zu einem multidimensionalen Bühnenstück aus Sound, Sprache, Musik, Architektur, aus Licht und Bild.
Die vielseitige italienische Künstlerin Isabella Bordoni spielt in ihren zahlreichen internationalen Performances mit den musikalischen und medialen Aspekten von Sprache. Auf der Bühne entwickelt sie eine Art akustischen Tanz aus Sprache und Sprachklang.
Stanze d'ascolto ist Poesie zum Hören - und Sehen.

Isabella Bordoni,1962 - Rimini (Italy) Poet, author, performer, director for theatre, radio e media projects, she works in Italy and Europe: Museum Moderner Kunst Vienna, Fundaciò Joan Mirò Barcellona, Tiroler Landesmuseum Innsbruck, Kunsthalle Tirol, Künstlerhaus Bethanien Berlin, Ars Electronica Linz, Washington Projects for the Arts, Palais des Beaux Arts Bruxelles, Spiel.Art Monaco di Baviera, Experimental Intermedia New York, Museum of Women in the Arts Washington D.C… others.
In 1985 she created Giardini Pensili, a theatre and Media Company, where she wrote, performed and co-directed the all production until the year 2000/1.
